The British Royal family has always intrigued me! Even as a child, I loved Princess Diana. I had books about her and always loved to see the beautiful gowns she would wear. I went to London when I was in the 9th grade and loved getting to see their palaces in person. I also went to Paris about 6 months after Diana's death and actually drove through the tunnel of her wreck. I don't know what it is about the royals that is so captivating but with the new engagement of Prince William, I am obsessed again! :)
I think its is such an honor for Kate to get to wear his mother's ring! It says a lot about how he feels about her to trust her with such a precious memory of his mother!
I can't wait to hear all about this royal wedding and HOPEFULLY it will be televised so we can all watch in awe!

ReplyDeleteME TOO!! =) I was so very obsessed with Princess Diana and I actually followed Fergie and some other royals as well. I hope that it's tevelised also! I CERTAINLY will be watching.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I was pretty obsessed with Princess Diana, and I have definitely followed William as well...secretly hoping we would meet and fall in love and live happily ever after! :) I do hope the wedding will be televised. I think it will be beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI admit I too have the same Royal Obsession! I looooved Princess Diana and I cried so much when I heard of her car crash and passing! I was glued to the television and I have been reading Star (yup) I admit that LOL, alot to see when he was gonna propose, I just knew he would and I think it is such an honor he gave her his mom's ring and I have been glued to the magazines and television watching it and I can't wait to see the wedding play out, I heard it will be next Spring/Summer sometime but then again I read it in Star Mag....LOL

Yesterday I tried to go over to 3 dogs on the side of a busy road here in town but they wouldn't let me near them and ran off into the woods somewhere...they had tags on them too. ReplyDeleteI am sooo obsessed! My grandma is from England so I've been hooked since I was very, very little! I've been to London and watched the changing of the guards and walked the same street that the Royals drive on!! Very exciting. I also hope their wedding is televised. They're a gorgeous couple!
