Team Turner

Like I told you in the last post, Matt was the moderator of 2 political debates yesterday! I was so proud of him! Debates just make me so uncomfortable! I hate when people argue and pick on each other. But both debates went great and Matt did a really good job!

Saturday night, we celebrated one of Matt's childhood friend's 30th birthday at Fastlanes bowling and gaming place! We had pizza and cake then bowled in the dark room!

Bowling in the dark was so fun! I can't wait to go back!

Birthday boy, Jonathan and his party planner wife, Mary!

Mary and me hanging out between our turns! Love her! She and her sisters have a new business making Cakelettes (cake balls). They have around 30 flavors and the ones I had tonight were delicious! They would be perfect of showers, parties or just for a sweet treat! Click HERE to see her blog post about them. If you live in the area and want some cakelettes, leave a comment on her blog or email her! :)

High school buddies together again!

Matt and I had so much fun bowling and hanging out with each other after the last few crazy weekends!

#1 bowler of the night!

First 6 frames of the 2nd game, I bowled a strike or spare!! I was on a roll!

Final score 269! Pretty dang good for not bowling in at least 5 years! I guess my parent's money towards my bowling class I took in college finally paid off! :) And I beat all the guys which was hilarious! I am thinking Matt and I need to join a bowling league, hence the title "Team Turner"! :)

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Woa Julee I'm impressed! I think bowling is so fun, but I'm usually happy to bowl like a 120 and break a hundred. haha...That's awesome! Glad yall had a fun Saturday!

You are adorable!!! :) Way to go on the bowling! I saw that on Twitter last night, but my phone wouldn't let me respond to you! Love cell phones. You know, they are ALWAYS so reliable!!! Ha ;)

Anyway, sounds like a fun weekend! Plus, you looked beautiful.

LOL - As a former bowler and wife to a current bowler, I hate to be nitpicky but..........but your score is actually a 157. I'm not sue what the 269 is, but for that high of a score (300 is a perfect game) you would have to strike pretty much every frame. You still did great though. :)
