Stroller

I have had the hardest time deciding on a stroller that worked best for us! I think I have decided on the Bumbleride Indie for these few random reasons...

  • I wanted something with a good size storage basket! I have a bigger diaper bag and need room for shopping bags at the mall! haha! :)
  • We are not big exercisers but we do walk Romeo and wanted something like a jogging stroller that would be a smoother ride than your traditional travel system stroller or umbrella stroller.
  • Matt really liked the look of a 3- wheel stroller and it seemed easier to maneuver in crowds.

I am getting a Graco infant carseat and the snap-n-go stroller for the beginning while she is still so little. So this stroller will be for when she is sitting up in the stroller but if we choose, her carseat can go on this stroller too!

If you have this Bumbleride stroller and can give me any insight on it, that would be much appreciated!! I got to see it and push it at Buy Buy Baby and really liked it so hopefully everyone that has it likes it too! Any of you that want to know more about it can read more about it HERE.

Just a tip....You may want to look into some type of cup holders or cell phone storage. You need it a lot more than you think. I would love to have a jogging stoller and I have been sadly disappointed with my travel system. I think this is a great choice!

Cute stroller, I bet it'll be great. One word of caution, black strollers get REALLY hot. My sister rented a jogger stroller when we went to Disney World and it was all black. It was a great stroller but the boys would have been cooler in a lighter colored stroller. Just something to think about. I took a chicco liteway in "surf" light blue and green colors. It stayed cooler.

We have a BOB that I love but my only complaint is the lack of storage space. The basket down below is small and I can barely even fit my purse. You will love having a jogging stroller. It's been a lifesaver for us. Alivia HATED her carseat so once she was around 4-5 months she held herself up in the stroller really well once she was buckled. It was a like a whole new world opened up for me that I could go somewhere without carrying her!

A friend of mine has this one and likes it. However, same comment about the hot factor being black. They went with the greenish color so it wouldn't be so hot. We have the Chicco system which I love but it even gets soooo hot and it's the green/gray combo. Another thing is purchasing cup holders and storage. After that, you'll be set!

Bumbleride makes fantastic strollers. I'm sure you will love it. I rarely hear complaints about them. Although like someone else said, get a cup holder. You may not think you will need it, but trust me you will!

I have a bob stroller and love it the only down fall is the storage space. A friend of mine got same stroller that you are looking at and her only problem was that her kid out grew the stroller really fast. Check out the ted and phil strollers they are bigger I love the fact that you can add a rumble seat for another child. Best of luch

I have the indie twin for my girls and it has been by far my favorite baby related purchase! I was leery at first because I wasn't sure if it would be worth the money since it was new at the time and not in stores, but it has been amazing. My girls are 3 now and you better believe that I still use it to exercise and run errands and they are still more than happy in it. Great choice, you will love it!

Gotta have the cup holders and storage for cell phone. I didn't have those and it was a big inconvenience!

We have a black Bumbleride Flyer, which is a little different than the Indie...but we L-O-V-E it! I am so glad we invested in this stroller. It is SO light, SO easy to fold/unfold & carry, and so easy to 'drive'. Also, we used a Graco infant carseat and it fit perfectly as a travel system. Being black with a grey seat, we never had a problem with it being too hot. And we live in St. Louis where it gets pretty hot & humid. :) I highly recommend!

I have that stroller and love it!!! We got it in 2010 and have been using it for 16 months. No issues at all. We got black-I wouldn't recommend the lighter colors as they get really dirty-the black is classy, and has held up well.

We have used a Bumbleride for 4 years and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. Super easy to manuever and they stand behind their product. Everything comes off and is washable, but I would recommend a lighter color for sure. Black gets super hot!

If you are looking for a great umbrella stroller, you can not go wrong with McClaren. Lots of choices and fabrics to choose from. Our McClaren double has gotten more use then any baby product we have owned.

Good luck to you!

I was just reading some of your older posts. I have the Indie Twin and love it. I am not sure if you have decided on and purchased the black....but, have you seen the newer fabrics that have come out?

Also, they have a new parent console pack that should be available sometime very soon. The stroller comes with a basic cupholder that works fine.

You are right, the storage is amazing on the Bumblerides. Also, what diaper bag did you choose? You can get stroller clips, so the diaper bag can hang from the stroller. That will leave your basket open for all your shopping bags. ;)
