Thanksgiving 2011

Matt and I always travel home for holidays so this year since we couldn't travel anywhere for Thanksgiving so my family came to us! We really missed being with Matt's family and missed being in the annual family picture!! But next year we will be there and it will be extra special with Miss Preslee in it!

My parents and grandpa came to our house on Tuesday. I was so excited that my Papaw was coming all the way from Tennessee! I was wishing Preslee would decide to join us a little early so he could meet her but that didn't end up happening. But we had a great 3 days with him and can't wait to see him again at Christmas!
My dad fried the turkey this year! This was the first time we have done this and it was SO good! I want to do it that way from now on!
It was so moist and was seasoned with Tony Chachere! It was SO yummy!
Mom and I made pecan pie and banana pudding! I seriously could have eaten all that pudding myself! ha!
Papaw got to spend a little time with Seth too! He had met him back in May but he was in the hospital with his broken hip and barely remembered us being there! I thought this pic was super sweet!
We love our sweet nephew!
Caught eating before everything was done! Sharing this pic to remember how dang big I was on this Thanksgiving!
I really loved having Thanksgiving at my house this year, especially since I didn't have to do any of the cooking! ha!
The very soon-to-be parents! :)
Self-timer family pic that turned out pretty decent! :)
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family!

Looks like a wonderful celebration! You are too darn cute :)

That turkey looked yummy. I've been wanting to deep fry one forever but have yet to try it. Is it difficult?

Hi Julee,

I found your blog from Katie's. Congrats on your new baby girl, I hope you have a fast and easy labor and delivery! You always look so cute in your maternity clothes, I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and have been searching for cute clothes with no luck. Where have you had the most luck buying maternity clothes? (specifically tops)

thanks!

Lindsey
