Uninvited Guest!

The other night, we let Romeo out into the backyard and I smelled a very strong skunk smell!  I asked Matt if he thought a skunk could be in our backyard? HA! He went out and looked around and didn't see one so I left the door cracked so Romeo could come back in when he was done. I went back to the couch and continued to look at all of your blogs and Matt went in our bedroom.

When he came back out he asked where Romeo was. I thought I had heard him come back in and start chomping down on some food in the kitchen, so I told Matt "He's in the kitchen eating." Matt proceeded to walk that way to look for him and the next thing I know Matt is yelling "OH MY GOSH!!!"

I didn't even take a second to look to see why he said that! I just jumped up and SPRINTED to our bedroom. Once I was safe behind our bedroom door and I cracked it and asked what it was. I seriously thought a skunk was in our house or it was a huge snake! Those were the only 2 things I could think of that would cause him to yell like that!!

He said all he saw was a black tail...

Ended up that it was NOT Romeo eating his food and it was a BLACK CAT eating Romeo's food! The cat got scared and ran out. Guess our back door will remain closed from now on!

Hi Julee! Your blog makes me smile. We SO enjoyed the wedding. I can't believe little Evan is a married man now. Mom and I were reminiscing while we were sitting there. Oh boy, do we have stories to tell of when he and Ryan were little. :) So fun! It was so beautiful and they both looked so good up there. We were looking for you afterwards but I know you all had to fly outta there quickly. But we'll stay in touch. I think Neeley and I will be back for Christmas since Ronnie will be gone again for the holidays.

Talk to you soon!

Julee-

I had a skunk spray the underside of my car when I accidentally drove over it (seriously!). My car smelled like skunk for a month. Thank God a skunk didn't get in your house! ha!
