This past Sunday, I helped throw a shower for one of my best friends from OBU. Emily had Cole in April so it was so fun because he was there at the shower for us to all hold! Everyone fell in love with him. He was super sweet the whole time. I can't wait to get to see Emily and Cole again!!

We had this coffee punch at the shower and it was DELICIOUS!! I got it from my new sis-in-law and I thought I would share the goodness with all of you!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup instant coffee granules
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup boiling water
2 cups half and half
1 quart vanilla ice cream
2 cups ginger ale chilled
Directions:
Stir together first four ingredients in a large pitcher. Cool. Cover and chill at least 8 hours. Stir together coffee mixture, half and half, and ice cream in a punch bowl and pour in ginger ale.
Top with softened ice cream and chocolate swirls (optional)

You were such a great hostess, Julee! And I'm going to make this punch "CB friendly" and make it with lactose free products so it won't make my tummy hurt. I'll let you know how it turns out. :) Thanks for the recipe!
