Our week in Houston...

We have been in Houston, TX for a week. We drove down Sunday from Arkadelphia in Matt's G-Dad's motor home. We first went to an RV park that was very close to M.D. Anderson. It was ok, but we found a better one on a lake so we moved Tuesday. This park is so nice! We are parked just feet away from the water. There is a fitness room/activities room with a pool table and hot tub inside. There is also a great outdoor pool here too. On days that we are not at the hospital, Lisa and I have really enjoyed those facilities! We have also enjoyed the great food that Houston offers!! We have eaten at Saltgrass Steak house twice and ate at Pappasitos as well!

Monday, we met with Dr. Barbara Pro. She is a hematologist/oncologist who specializes in TCell Lymphoma. We have heard great things about her and we liked her instantly. She called for more tests and for Matt to see a dermatologist for the peeling skin and blisters on his hands. He had a PET/CT scan on Wednesday, skin biopsy on Thursday and a 3rd Bone Marrow Aspirate/biopsy on Friday.

We are praying for answers on Tuesday morning when we meet with Dr. Pro again. Hopefully most of the test results will be back by then. If not, our plan will be to make another appointment sometime soon and return home. We both need to get back to work and we really miss our ROMEO! :)
