I have always loved to read a good book! But I got through phases (like during the busy Fall) that I don't take the time to read! I am always reading online but one of my favorite things to do is to get in bed with a good book! So I went to the bookstore this weekend and picked up these two.
Karen Kingsbury is one of my very favorite authors. She writes Christian fiction books and has many series! Her series are absolutely amazing and you can literally not put them down! Unlocked is her newest book out. It's not part of a series but in her past series they were actually filming a movie and it was called Unlocked. So this is the story about the movie in the past book. Does that make sense?! Anyway... You don't have to have read any of her others before this book. But if you decide to start reading her books, start with the Redemption Series! It's amazing!
I also picked up our former President's book! I watched his interview on Oprah and with Matt Lauer and decided that I really needed to read this as well! I am excited to learn more about man that served as our nation's leader for 8 years of my life! I love American history and think its important to know all about it!
So what are you reading these days?! Suggestions for my next trip to the book store?

I started Decision Points too and I could barely put it down! I heard the President speak at a small party on the topic of prayer.... WOW! It was powerful.
Hubby asked for Decision Points for Christmas, so I'll read it when he's done! I would HIGHLY recommend 'Same Kind of Different As Me' if you haven't already read it! It is AH-MAZING!!
My hubby and I plan on listening to that book on tape on the way to Alabama for Thanksgiving. Im usually not one to read that kind of stuff but i am actually excited about it.
I love Karen Kingsbury! She's my absolute favorite! I love her Baxter family series!
Oh my word I love Karen Kingsbury!! I read ALL of the Baxter series and am now on "Take two" - so so good!
Cant wait to read Unlocked! And you have to us know how both of the books are!
Happy reading!
I loved the book called Looking for Salvation at the Dairy Queen by Susan Gregg Gilmore!
I plan on reading Decision Points over Christmas Break! I can't wait- I saw his interviews on multiple stations- I love him/think he's too cute! haha
I've never read any of Karen Kingsbury's books but I hear they are good. Not sure if you have heard of Kate McRae in the past year or so- [http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/mcraekate] but she is a character in Unlocked (as a result of a fundraiser for the McRae's)
George W is supposed to be book signing at our CostCo tomorrow! I debated going but I'm guessing in this republican state the crowds are going to be crazy. I've never heard of Kingsbury, I'll have to grab on of her books to try, thank for the tip.
I have read all of Karen Kingsbury's book but not this one. I need to get it!
I put Decision Points on my amazon wish list after watching him on Oprah. :)
i love Karen Kingsbury books and am in the middle of the series you mentioned as well. i'm also in the middle of her first book in the forever faithful series! can't wait to sit down tonight and snuggle under the covers while reading her book!
I love Karen Kingsbury's books and I especially loved Unlocked! As usual, it made me cry, but it was so good. I just started John Grisham's Confession which isn't usally something I'd read, but I've heard great things about it.
