One year ago... and some new randomness.

Matt and I were in Rochester, MN at the Mayo clinic this time last year! (And I can't forget the horrible 150mg of Clomid I was on last January! ha!) If you are new to my blog, Matt has been dealing with some sickness for over 2.5 years. We have been to the Mayo clinic and to M.D. Anderson to try to figure out what in the world is wrong with him. He has basically had every test known to man done on him and we still don't have any real clear answers.

In the last year, he has had better days so we have just been trying to get through bad days. I am not going to go into what all his symptoms are but as we struggle through infertility, I am just asking for prayers. Its very hard on us to both have medical issues. I just hate to see him not feeling good and not having the quality of life that a 31 year old should have! We have a lot of happy living to do together so I am praying that we are just getting some of the hard years over with now! :)

Ok, on to some other random stuff... Something very exciting happened January 16th. Our church, Cross Church, opened a new campus that is literally 2 minutes from our house! We have attended the last 2 weeks and we are loving that we can be apart of such an amazing church that wants to reach so many people in Northwest Arkansas!

Have y'all been watching the last season of Oprah?! Oh my word, most of her shows have been AMAZING! I want to go to Australia so bad now after her 4 part series when she took her audience to Australia! And then this week, we find out she has a sister! Craziness!

The Kindle has kept me from watching so much tv but it can't keep me away from the Bachelor!!

I think he is the cutest bachelor ever. Yes, he might be a little awkward at times and dosen't have the biggest personality but, I still really like him! There are some serious crazies on this season. I can't wait to for it to get down the final girls! I normally read www.realitysteve.com every year but this year, I have decided to refrain!! I am just going to watch the show and try to enjoy it even though the crazy girls drive me mad! ha!

Last, but not least on my most random post ever... Fayetteville just got a mongolian grill!!

Create your own Asian stir-fry! Choose from our fresh selection of meats, seafood,
noodles, veggies and Asian-influenced sauces. Customize your Mongolian BBQ
masterpiece, then watch as it's cooked on our grill of epic proportions.
A unique dining experience for the whole family!

I am SO EXCITED about this! I first ate at one in Dallas and then again in Nashville. I am going to try in out soon with some friends and I can't wait!

Sorry my blogging has been so random lately! But thanks for all your book suggestions in the last post. I love them and can't wait to update on my next good reads soon! Hope everyone is having a good week!

Praying for you guys!

How exciting about church! What a blessing to have it so close! I hope you all enjoy it!

Yay for mongolian! Our Officer's Club here on base hosts a mongolian buffet often. We just had it two nights ago. It is so good!

Enjoy the rest of the week!

I found your blog thru Kelly's blog. I will add upui and Matt to my prayer list. Have you considered a naturalopathic Dr. You can find one in your area here
http://www.naturopathic.org. My daughter had some health issues that have improved when traditional Dr could not help. The NDR has also helped me with ongoing health issues. You might want to try it.

I think you have such a great blog! I will be praying for you two!
I wish you lived closer, the chiropractor that I work with does hair analysis testing & saliva testing & nutritional testing to find issues that blood can't - whatever the symptoms are...it checks hormones throughout a whole day & adrenal systems & thyroid.
Here is her website...www.southernpineschiro.com
She is amazing & helps with infertility as well.

I also wish I could pay you to do a hair makeover on me! I'm in need of a redo & a new look!
Hope your week is full of blessings.

Praying for both you and Matt!!! And I’ve never spoiled myself with Reality Steve but this season of the Bachelor I did, and if he’s correct. I’m pleased with his choice :)

Hi, I follow your blog through kellys and just wanted to share my infertility story, after 2 yrs if trying and awhile year of chlomid, husband had surgery, one failed IUI, and being told IVF was our only option we tries a acupuncture specializing in infertility and after 4 months of treatment (with no horrible side effects) we got pregnant. I don't obviously know your medical issues, but just wanted to let you know there are other options. Good luck!

I am saying a prayer for you guys!

My husband is like yours-has some health issues that we have to deal with and just take it day by day. He is only 29 and we are hoping his issues can be resolved soon. We also have 2 small children. You can borrow them anytime-they would be great practice ;-)
