Julee, I prayed for you this evening as I drove to the grocery store. I looked at my clock and realized it was exactly a week since you lost Matt. My hurt truly hurts for you and I think about you so many times every day. I know there are no words or maybe evn actions that can take away your pain. Though we don't know each other, we were at OBU at the same time and I recognize you. This whole thing has caused me to spend a lot of time in thought and prayer and I wish Jesus could just come back now so that no one has to hurt like this anymore. I just wanted you to know that even though it seems like everyone else's life is moving forward, there are so many people burdened for you who can't just go back to life as it was. I'm cherishing every moment with my husband and at the same time praying for you and the pain I can only imagine you are feeling.

Continuing to pray for you and your families as you navigate your new "normal" and praising God for the wonderful friends it seems like you have surrounding you! Not to mention all of your blog "friends" who are strangers but are praying as if you were our family too.

Dear Julee, A kind person posted your link on my blog so we could be praying for you too, at Widows Christian Place. If you ever need to talk or connect to other widows with babies, please let me know. In the meantime, a whole community women who've been there will be holding you in their prayers and in their hearts.

I will continue to pray for Julee and Preslee. I lost my husband tragically in 2002. My children were 4 and 7. It was the most difficult thing I have ever been through. Please know there are people who really do understand every emotion you are feeling right now!

Hi Julie,

You do not know me, but I found your story on Kelly's Korner blog. I just wanted you to know that you and your sweet little Preslee have been and will continue to be in my prayers. I pray that God continues to wrap His arms around you and lift you up, giving you His Peace which goes beyond our human understanding.

Blessings...

Julee, I am so very sorry for your loss. Matt sounds like he was a wonderful husband, father and son. At age 32, he is only one year older than my youngest son, so I relate to him on that level. It breaks my heart for you.

I wanted to pass along a website for another Blog. It is that of Sarah Schieber. Sarah lost her husband, Chad, very suddenly at a Chicago marathon in 2007. Chad was only 35, a police officer in my city, and a wonderful man as well.

Chad's wife, Sarah, is a very talented singer/song writer, including many songs about her loss. I will give you the link, but you will particularly find comfort in "Long October Road" and "Christmas in Heaven". You can buy them via her blog or on Amazon.

Also, I believe that if you contact Sarah, she would converse with you to help you through the pain. She is a wonderful person. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.

Saw your story on Huckabee. Will be praying for you and Preslee. I can't even imagine what your life is like right now. Your profession of faith is so inspiring. Even when you don't understand God's plan, you can trust in it.
