15 weeks

(I will be honest... I am not at fan of these sideways pics! Maybe Matt and I need to practice because that shadow is driving me crazy!)

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 15 weeks
Size of baby: 4 inces long and about 2.5 ounces. The size of my favorite fruit...an apple!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: At the doctors office, I haven't gained any yet because the first weigh-in, I had on a lot of clothes. But by my scale at home, I have gained 5 pounds.
Maternity Clothes: Starting to wear some maternity shorts and capris because the bella band moves around too much! Regular pants no longer button or if they do, they are very uncomfortable!
Gender: Don't know yet!!
Movement: In the last week or two, I think I have felt some flutters! It's when I am laying flat in bed late at night when I have felt this little movement.
Sleep: Sleeping is much better now since the heartburn has reduced! Love sleeping on my left side!
Symptoms: Hungry all the time, constipation, and mild heartburn.
What I miss: Multiple diet cokes a day
Cravings: Anything salty and cheesy! And really random stuff like Hot dogs, which I know I am not supposed to eat often, but Sonic hot dogs are the best thing ever right now!
Best Moment this week: Cleaning out my closet so I know what I can wear now! I have never been so happy to not to be able to fit in clothes though! :)
What I am looking forward to: My next appointment on June 21st! Our moms are coming up and going to the ultrasound with us to hopefully find out what Baby T's gender is!

If you're not drinking Diet Coke because of the caffeine, you could always opt for the Caffeine Free version... I do that with regular coke and think it actually tastes better!

You are adorable! Love the bump! I am 15 weeks too! And I miss Diet Coke also! That's a good idea to clean out the closet of clothes you can't wear- I need to do that!

first of all - congrats on your pregnancy. i've been readin' your blog for some time and this is the first time that i've commented. i'm lookin' forward to all the posts that are ahead and anxious to see the changes to come.

i've seen where you are not crazy about your "shadow" that is being casted in your pictures. do you have a camera that can hold an external flash? if so, do you have one? if not - you may want to get one. and if you do get one, get one w/ a pivotal head so you can position is however you would like. when you point the flash up at an angle where the light aimed above your head, the light will highlight the wall behind and around you, preventing a shadow. plus - if you are picture happy like me, you will want a flash for when the baby gets here. you'll be amazed the difference. good luck and again - congratulations to you both.

So sweet! I've read your blog for awhile and have only commented a few times, but I have to say that I am so excited for you all!

A tip for the shadowing in the pic - you could take it next to some natural light from a window and not use the flash and it might help. :)

I am new to your blog, I can not wait to follow it, my daughter just had her first baby by IVF and he is the most beautiful, perfect little boy you could imagine. He is perfect in every way. I know every grandmom says this but I have to say for what she has had to go through as you know first hand we were very scared for them. She was on bed rest from 14 weeks till the end but so worth every second she says. I wish you both all the luck in the world and can not wait to follow your blog. If you ever want to ask any ??'s or just want to chat with someone who has gone through what you are she would be more than happy to chat with you. She worked in the ER and then maternity ward before her little miracle took her out of work. She just gave her notice 4 days ago, she wants to be a stay at home mom to her miracle. He is now 5 weeks old tommorow.

you don't know me from Adam! Found you via Kelly's blog.

Advice on the shadow. If you are using flash with camera the flash is bouncing off the wall...so don't stand so close to the wall. Move more towards the camera.
