Easter Sunday

Easter is always special because we spend it with our family and attend our hometown church. Matt's dad was pastor for there almost 25 years! This year was extra special because we did baby dedication! Even though we don't attend there often, it will always hold a special place in our hearts! Our families are members, we met at this church, got married and now dedicated our beautiful daughter there!
Preslee was pretty in pink on Easter morning!
My childhood best friend, Kristin, also dedicated her daughter Elliott! Doing this together made the day very special!
My other childhood bestie, Tizzie was there with her family too! We are missing her cutie pie, Gus in this pic!
LiLi got to show off our pretty girl!
Grandpa Gary would be so proud of Preslee! This bronzed picture is at the front of the church and has his final words to his church engraved on it.

After church, we headed to celebrate with Matt's big family! It's always a fun afternoon with great food and fun egg hunt!
Preslee was about done with Easter at this point! I think it will be funny to take her pic by this big bunny each year!
We got to see Preslee's great-great grandpa again! He loves her so much and couldn't wait to hold her!
She was very spoiled by her great aunts for Easter! She even got her own lawn chair for this summer!
This is the beginning of the egg hunt for the "KIDS!" haha!
Money is in each egg so its serious business!
It's so serious, we ran around like crazy people in the rain! We were all soaked!
5 generations of hands! We saw this on Pinterest but didn't recreate it that well, but you get the point! :)
Cousin Jeni gave Preslee her first pigtails!!

We are very blessed to be able to spend such wonderful time with our families for all holidays! I hope Preslee always knows how important family is and how much we all love her!

Easter Saturday

My family celebrated Easter on Saturday at the Lake! We grilled burgers, ate cupcakes, had an Easter egg hunt and had a wonderful time together on a beautiful day!
Matt and Evan showing the kids the water!
Love that Preslee and Seth are matching! I can't wait for next Easter when they are both running around looking for eggs together!
Sweet babies.
Cute Easter cupcakes from Ricks!
Preslee found her egg!
Romeo stayed at home but he was missed!
Preslee's first time at a playground!
Seth is a pro at swigning!

Then we headed back to my parents to hang out and do Easter baskets!
Nanny and Pop spoiled them rotten with all these goodies!
Uncle Evan
Seth was checking out Preslee's basket and she says "This is MINE!" :)
P is ready for her trip to the beach this summer!
We are very thankful for these precious blessings this Easter!

Next post will be Easter Sunday and baby dedication at our hometown church!

Easter weekend pics.

This is a little late but better than never...

My parents came up for Easter weekend because we are doing a lot of traveling home during May. We missed the rest of our family as well as Matt's family but we had a great weekend! It rained the whole entire time they were here but it didn't stop us from grilling out, shopping and having a good time together!
The Francis clan came over to say hi to my parents. Dad was holding Jillian and Brody decided he wanted Dad to hold him too! I thought this was so sweet!!
Easter morning with my boys!
Mom and me with our babies! The dogs love being together just as much the humans do! :)

I promise to do a lot more blogging in May! Coming up tomorrow... my friend Jill's wedding weekend!

Easter 2010

We had a wonderful Easter this year! It was really busy, as every holiday is for us... but we so thankful to be able to spend it with of our family!

My parents with us at our home church on Sunday morning!

My best friends, Tizzie and Kristin who I don't see near enough! I love these girls!

The girls and our old youth pastor, Steve! Love him!

After church, we were off to Matt's grandparent's house for lunch!

Matt's beautiful cousin Jeni!

The hostess, Matt's Gram and his great-grandfather Piggy!

Matt's pretty momma, Lisa with her sweet Sam!

The boys enjoying all the good food!

I didn't get any pictures of the Easter egg hunt... but each egg had money in it! There were 7 kids, well if you count 18-30 yr olds kids, that hunted the eggs. It may have been the most serious Easter egg hunt ever with over $200 up for grabs! HA!

Then we were off to Little Rock to eat Easter dinner at my brother and sis-in-law's house!

Is this not the cutest Easter table ever?!

Mrs. hostess herself finishing the delicious dinner!

My brother who grilled pork tenderloin! Yummy!

Carrot cake for Easter dessert!

My dad loves his grand-dog and Romeo sure loves him back! :)

Our only family picture of the day so this will just have to be our Easter picture this year!

Romeo had to have Easter attire too! :)

The Easter bunny brought us A LOT of candy!
Sweet Jack was tired but wanted to keep chewing on that new bone!

Romeo high-fives for treats!

Hope everyone had a very HAPPY EASTER!
