This year's sundress...

is a ROMPER!! I can't believe how popular these things are this year! I mean, I am not going to be giving up the sundress anytime soon. But they are everywhere and there are some super cute ones! Target has a great selection and I saw some precious ones at Dillards!

What's funny is that last June, I bought this exact one at Target! I thought it was cute to wear in Cabo. I wore it over a bathing suit there but I guess I will be wearing it more this summer!

The denim color is really in this summer too. I got a greyish/denim one the other day at Target for like $19.99!

They come in all colors and styles! Try them on and see which style fits your body type!

I wish I could be as cute as Nicole Richie in my Rompers!

Wedge flip flops!

So many of you asked about where to get wedge flip flops! I normally search stores for them each Spring. I have found them at Dillards, J.Crew, Warren's ( a local store ) and Old Navy. Also, if you google wedge flip flops, many come up! Victoria secret has a huge supply and many different brands! Here are a few from their site!

Most of these, along with the original picture are by Colin Stuart and seem to be pretty inexpensive!

These are some super high wedges and they are BCBG!

And lastly... If I had to pick a favorite brand of flip flops, they would be Yellow Box! Many stores sale this brand. You might just have to do some research to find one in your area!

Where are you Spring?

March is here and Spring is just around the corner!! I love the changing of seasons and I am glad that Arkansas has all 4 seasons (even though Spring and Fall are quite short)! But I especially love when we go from cold & snowy to warm & sunny! Here are my favorite things for Spring that I just can't resist!!

Out with the coats... Bring on the SUN DRESSES!! I have already bought a few at Target this week! I love to wear dresses and feel the most comfortable in them. I would LOVE to have enough to wear one each day of summer! :)

If you are short like me... These wedge flip flops will change your life!! I love them and I basically wear them every day of Spring/Summer! They are way more comfortable than heels but are better than regular flops because they give you some height!

I have said many times that I LOVE HEADBANDS! No headband is off limits to me! Matt tells me all the time that I will regret wearing these big headbands! He thinks when I look back at photos of myself wearing big flowers on my head, that I will wish I hadn't worn them. I strongly disagree! :)

Headband Lady

So I admitted the other day that I have an obsession with headbands! (And I even got another one yesterday!) I think I am up to 15 headbands and that brings up the issue...

What do you do with that many headbands?

While at a boutique I looked to see how they displayed their headbands. They had a great idea and I decided to try it for my collection! They had 3 toilet paper rolls and then put fabric around it. I ended up using a big paper towel roll and I even had some cute black and white fabric to wrap around it! I thought it turned out so cute and I am excited to be able to see all the headbands!!

This is the finished product!

Here is how I did it... Start with a paper towel roll.

Then wrap with cute fabric.

Tuck the fabric in ends.

Tada! And there you have it ladies... Go ahead and do it for yourself too! :)

The rest of the week will probably be pretty quiet on my blog because my 2 best friends from college are coming to stay at my house for a long weekend! I am so excited! I can't wait to spend some good quality time with them!! I am sure we will take lots of pics and I will be blogging it next week!!

Blog friends and headbands

Some of us blog friends met for lunch today! It was so fun to meet Melissa and Ashley and to see Kelly, Kate and Jennifer! We ate some good food at Marketplace and loved watching Brody and Harper together!

I just love Miss Harper! She looked so cute today and was so sweet the whole time!

My new favorite thing is headbands. I am sort of obsessed. I think its because I am bored with my long hair but don't really want to cut it so this changes it up a little! Last summer, I got a few from Forever 21 that had bows on them. Since then I have gotten a few more and tonight I added 2 more to my collection!

This one came from Mason's. They had a deal going that if you buy one head piece you get 1 free!

So I got these cute earmuffs for free! I thought they would be great to wear to a cold Hog game!

Love Mondays off!

Today has been a great day! First I had lunch with my best friend, Jennifer & Brody and our blog friend, Kelly & Harper!! We had such a great time chatting about OBU, blogging, laughing and playing with the babies! I really felt like we had been friends forever! :)

Brody and Harper had a puff eating contest! They were loving their puffs!

They are going to be a cute couple in 18 years when they are at OBU together! :)

Harper was just too sweet!!! Look at that precious smile!

She was my buddy! I loved being able to hold this sweet baby girl that I had prayed so hard for when she was born sick. I am so thankful she is a healthy and happy girl!

It was so great to finally meet Kelly in person after keeping up with each other's lives via blogs, facebook and twitter! :)

Can't wait until our next lunch date!

After lunch, I did some shopping around town. It was so nice to have nothing in mind and no time restrictions... just shopped! I went to many boutiques around town and then walked thru the mall! I really didn't buy much but I did get this head band and red ring to wear to a Hog game! Only $16 total from Maude.

This cute purse was from Instyle Accessories store in the mall. It was only $27!! I love that it is grey! I am hoping it will go with black or brown.
