Bethenny.

In my "I have nothing to blog about" break, I had this thought that I needed to make sure all of you know about my favorite show! I really love Bethenny Frankel! I didn't watch Real Housewives of New York that she was on. But for Christmas, my mom got me Bethenny Getting Married- first season, which is her own spin off show on Bravo. I wasn't sure about how much I would like it. Let me tell you... it's the best reality show ever! I watched the whole season in one day and I have watched it again since then!!!

Her personality is hilarious. She isn't afraid to say anything and I love that about her!

She met the most precious man. On the first season, its all about them planning a wedding and starting their life together. Seriously, he is unbelievably nice. I don't know of anyone's husband that is as catering or as sweet as he is! It's like he is not real or at least what we see on camera isn't real! ha! :)

At the end of the first season, she had a beautiful baby girl! She has turned into a very nurturing and loving mother.

The second season is on right now on Bravo and it's now called Bethenny Ever After. The first season is at Target and I think it's only $12.99! It's so worth the money and the time it takes to watch it! I can't wait for Monday nights to spend an hour watching it! I seriously love this show and just wanted to share!

One year ago... and some new randomness.

Matt and I were in Rochester, MN at the Mayo clinic this time last year! (And I can't forget the horrible 150mg of Clomid I was on last January! ha!) If you are new to my blog, Matt has been dealing with some sickness for over 2.5 years. We have been to the Mayo clinic and to M.D. Anderson to try to figure out what in the world is wrong with him. He has basically had every test known to man done on him and we still don't have any real clear answers.

In the last year, he has had better days so we have just been trying to get through bad days. I am not going to go into what all his symptoms are but as we struggle through infertility, I am just asking for prayers. Its very hard on us to both have medical issues. I just hate to see him not feeling good and not having the quality of life that a 31 year old should have! We have a lot of happy living to do together so I am praying that we are just getting some of the hard years over with now! :)

Ok, on to some other random stuff... Something very exciting happened January 16th. Our church, Cross Church, opened a new campus that is literally 2 minutes from our house! We have attended the last 2 weeks and we are loving that we can be apart of such an amazing church that wants to reach so many people in Northwest Arkansas!

Have y'all been watching the last season of Oprah?! Oh my word, most of her shows have been AMAZING! I want to go to Australia so bad now after her 4 part series when she took her audience to Australia! And then this week, we find out she has a sister! Craziness!

The Kindle has kept me from watching so much tv but it can't keep me away from the Bachelor!!

I think he is the cutest bachelor ever. Yes, he might be a little awkward at times and dosen't have the biggest personality but, I still really like him! There are some serious crazies on this season. I can't wait to for it to get down the final girls! I normally read www.realitysteve.com every year but this year, I have decided to refrain!! I am just going to watch the show and try to enjoy it even though the crazy girls drive me mad! ha!

Getting caught up.

I have been needing to blog since last week, but I was in one of my best friend's wedding this weekend so I am just trying to get caught up on life! I can't wait to share lots of pics of the wedding with all of you when I get them from my mom and can get them sorted out!

Monday, I rested on the couch while watching a marathon of DCC Making the Team season 4! It was really cool because they were the first to cheer in the new stadium but next the season starts this Friday! I am so excited!

For most of Brody Francis' life, as long as I am in town, I have seen him just about once a week! I have been so busy lately, that I let almost 2 weeks go by since I have played with Brody or loved on sweet Jillian! I got my fix today though! Brody is just getting so funny!! I didn't get any pics of him but I just love his little entertaining personality. And I am really loving this sweet girl who is just learning to smile!

This evening, I babysat for my co-worker! She is moving homes this weekend, so I volunteered to watch Mccoy so she could pack up tonight. He is such a laid back boy and was just a joy to be around!

I was so proud of Romeo too. He never jumped on him or acted aggressive what so ever! Mccoy even tried to feed Romeo part of his dinner and Romeo wouldn't even take it out of his hand. He was so polite and waited for Mccoy to drop it on the ground for him! Romeo will be such a good big brother one day! :)

I am so thankful for my friends that let me love their kiddos! I am blessed to have them all in my life!

Tv obsession.

Hello. My name is Julee. And I am seriously addicted to television... haha! :)

OMG!! Who watched the Bachelor Pad finale?! It was crazy! The contestants were brutal, mean and very honest with each other. I thought it was hilarious! I would have liked for Tenely and Kiptyn to have won, but that didn't happen. :( I have watched every Bachelor/Bachelorette that has been on and in all those years, this season's Bachelor Pad was my favorite! The whole concept of the show was very interesting and I hope they do another one next year! But maybe next time, they won't be flying by the seat of their pants the whole season. ha!

You all know that I became a very obsessed with Big Brother 12 this summer. (FINALE TONIGHT!!) I have been stressing over going through withdrawals when its over. I will miss it a lot... but with all the fall shows starting back, I think I will have PLENTY to keep my mind off BB12! Starting with Gossip Girl and 90210 that started back on Monday!! Yay!!

My friends and family (including my husband) warn me that I watch way too many shows, but I seriously can't wait for Premiere Week next week! Hopefully this blog won't lack too much from all my shows coming back!

Big Brother Addiction.

This is the 12th season of Big Brother but it's only my first time to really watch the show. I have seen random episodes before but not like I have been watching this season. I am going to need some serious therapy when this goes off.

So on Friday at 6:15pm, I broke down and bought the live feed for Big Brother!! This was probably not a good decision for me since I get somewhat addicted to reality tv. Basically I can watch this 24 hours a day if I want to. And I have spent many hours watching these people do absolutely nothing!

Brittany, the blonde on the far right, is from Arkansas. I have actually done her hair when she was in college and I have friends that know her fiance. So she is a big reason I want to watch so much of this crazy show!

My house and husband are going to suffer until this show ends! It just so addicting!

Surprise baby shower!

My sweet friend, Amy, is having her second baby boy on Sept. 10th! She is a long time receptionist at the salon where I work. So all of us at the shop wanted to do something special for her. She wasn't planning to have a shower this time around, but we had other plans for her! :)

Erin asked her to go to brunch on Sunday. Little did Amy know, that we were all there waiting to have brunch with her and to shower her with gifts for her sweet baby Harry!

Amy was so excited to see us and loved all the goodies she got!

She is going to be a great boys mom! But she is going to have her hands full with Max and Harry!

On to another subject... Who is watching this??

I thought it was pretty good show tonight! I like it being half girls/half boys. Could be a very interesting show!

I just can't help but wonder, how in the world do ALL these girls have such amazing bodies??

Tuesday night tv...

This is a somewhat pointless post but you all know that I LOVE some television! And Tuesday night is by far my favorite night of tv!! I have so much that I can't even dvr all of it!

Warning: There may be some spoilers in here if you haven't watched these show!

IT'S BACK!!! I have only seen a few episodes of Glee. And I will be honest... after the first one, I wasn't real impressed. But after watching a couple more, I was sucked in. Then the season ended! I wanted to buy the first season on dvd before it started back last night but I got busy. I really enjoyed the episode last night and can't wait for next Tuesday! Hopefully I can watch all of the first season very soon. If you are a Glee watcher... what did you think?

My very favorite show is BL! I am not a fan of working out but when I watch this show, I really miss going to the gym! At this point, there are 9 contestants and I really like all of them! But when O'Neal won the car and gave it to his daughter, Sunshine, he now holds a special place in my heart! He is just so sweet and I really hope he succeeds and loses a lot of weight! Tonight, Drea was voted off. I feel bad for her because she probably needs to be on the ranch more than Sam but, I am proud of Sam and I look forward to seeing how far he goes and how much he achieves because that man has some serious will power!

And finally... Poor cutie Aiden Turner got kicked off of DWTS! I know he wasn't that good of a dancer but dang I will miss seeing his cute face! I hope Chad Ochocinco sticks around for a while but, I really want Erin Andrews to win! I just love her and Maks!!

Also on Tuesday night, I DVR American Idol, 19 Kids and counting and 90210! I know... its pitiful! I haven't watched all 3 of those yet but I will get caught up eventually!

Interviewing celebrities!

Interviewing celebrities is not something many people can say they have done... Matt can! On Friday night when I was in Little Rock, our friend Josh and Jennifer tweeted that Randy Jackson and Apolo Ohno were at a local restaurant in NWA. Matt decided to rush over to the restaurant to try to get an interview with them! And he succeeded!!

Randy was here to promote a new movie that he worked on. He also spoke at Walmart.

Apolo was also here meeting with Walmart and Procter & Gamble.

I forgot to mention this a few months ago... but Matt interviewed another celebrity! Scott Wolf and his wife, Kelly were in town visiting her family for the holidays, and volunteered at the local food bank. Matt had the opportunity to ask him some questions! I am kicking myself for not going to meet them. Matt said they were so down to earth and super nice! Maybe one day, you will see Matt on Entertainment Tonight! HA!

Price of Beauty

I have been watching VH1's Price of Beauty with Jessica Simpson. Have you? It's really a good show! I think it's so interesting to see what these other cultures do to and what they think is beauty. So while on the topic, I decided to pick 10 women that I think are just beautiful! This is all about outside beauty! I think inner beauty is actually more beautiful that outer beauty but since I don't know any of these women personally, I am judging them solely their looks. :)

Starting with the brunettes...

Aishwarya Rai has been named "THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE WORLD"!! She is one of Bollywood's biggest movie stars.

Elizabeth Hurley has always been one of my favorite beauty idols!

Who can say these 'Friends' aren't beauitful?!

I know some people may not agree... but to me, Angelina is seriously one of the most beautiful women!

I dream about looking like Catherine Zeta Jones at her age!! :)

I think Reese is just gorgeous! I wish I was her friend in real life.

It was hard to find a picture of Marissa Miller with full clothes on! HAHA! She is my favorite Victoria Secret model. And if I had to guess... She would be Matt's favorite in this list! :)

I have always loved Jessica! She had to make the list since her show gave me the idea for the post!

Carrie has come so far from her American Idol days and each day, she gets more beautiful!

DWTS Season 10- Week 2

This week was a HUGE improvement for most of the contestants! The first week nerves were gone and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves more this week. Well except for Kate... ha!

In no particular order, here are my thoughts on each contestant for week 2!

• Chad Ochocinco- Well... tonight just wasn't his night with the judges! But I still really like him and he has potential! And I love his charming personality. I felt sorry for him tonight!
• Erin Andrews- Love her!! She did well tonight and I just love her and Maks together! Hoping she sticks around for a while!
• Nicole Scherzinger- Wow!! Is she the first person to get a 10 this soon in the competition? It was really good but it still bothers me that she dances for a living! Of course she will be good each week!
• Aiden Turner- Poor thing got hit in the face 2 times and still did much better tonight! He worked hard this week and had improved a lot since last week. But I still doubt he will be around for long.
• Kate Gosselin- wow... I don't think I have ever seen anyone mess up so bad on all the years of DWTS! I felt sorry for her, but I think she will be gone this week or next!
• Evan Lysacek- He was wonderful tonight! He was fun to watch and was definitely one of the best!
• Buzz Aldrin- Poor Buzz! I think he will be the one to go tomorrow night! I felt so sorry for him only scoring 4's but it just wasn't very good! And what about his wife?? Can we say Botox?! :)
• Pam Anderson- Pam looked really pretty tonight and not so out of it! She was doing well channeling Marilyn Monroe but she seriously drives me crazy in the interviews with Brooke!
• Jake Pavelka- The jive was a great dance for him! He did really good! I was pretty impressed tonight.
• Shannon Doherty- Looked pretty tonight doing the jive but still has moments where she is too tense!
• Niecy Nash- Great tonight!! She was so graceful and had great poise!

DWTS Season 10

I LOVE DWTS!! I was so excited last night when this show came back on!

This season is being talked about a lot! There are lots of celebrities and I think it could be an interesting outcome! After the first night, it's hard to say who is going to be the winner but I really liked...

• Chad Ochocinco- He is Matt's favorite!! ha! I think he can go pretty far! Best football player on DWTS so far!
• Erin Andrews- Love her and I hope he does well! She is so tall and pretty!
• Nicole Scherzinger- She will probably be the best dancer and if she gets the fans behind her, she could win. Which I don't agree with since she is basically dances for a living!
• Aiden Turner- HOTTIE!! He wasn't very good but I would like to be able to keep seeing his pretty face for a while! :)
• Kate Gosselin- She was super nervous! And the Viennese Waltz probably wasn't going to be the best dance for her. I just want to see a few more dances out of her!
• Evan Lysacek- Ice skaters can obviously dance! I think he will make it pretty far.

Ones I won't care to see go...

• Buzz Aldrin- Poor old man is so cute! But he just can't dance!
• Pam Anderson- She seemed drunk or something... She is just too much for me!
• Jake Pavelka- I am just really done seeing him every week. He is a dork!
• Shannon Doherty- Wasn't a fan of her on 90210... still not a fan today. Although she was a decent dancer!
• Niecy Nash- Don't know much about her but she was funny!

These predictions are solely based on my preferences not their dancing ability! :) And a side note: I really miss Julianne Hough!! She is my all time favorite professional!

Shut-up Juice!

The Mean Pig Barbecue is a restaurant in Cabot, AR that is well known for their VERY HOT barbecue sauce! In November, they were featured on the Travel channel's, Man vs. Food where Adam took the Shut-up juice challenge!

One of the local reporters at Matt's tv station went there and tried the extreme barbeque sandwich and ended up throwing up 3 times! He brought back some of the the Shut-up juice and here is a clip of Matt trying it at the end of the newscast!! It's really funny!! (There is an outake at the end after the black screen. There is no audio but its Matt struggling!)

What do you guys think about set of judges this season?

I am an avid watcher of the Ellen Degeneres show! I personally love to see her on AI! Kara really bothered me last year, but this year she is ok! I love Simon and normally agree with what he has to say but, I just wish he didn't say things so rudely! Constructive criticism is a good thing but totally putting the contestants down on national tv makes my heart hurt for them!

Do you have favorites yet??

I need to hear a little more before I can name my faves. I didn't think the girls did all that great and the guys weren't awesome yet either. I love to see how far they go and by then end, they are all great performers!

Randomness...

We haven't done much of anything this weekend and it's been great!! Saturday, I worked for a while before cleaning the house. After that, I crashed on the couch for the rest of the evening. This afternoon, I have been on the couch ALL day! Wow! I am lazy!

Matt and I are big fans of the HBO 24/7 documentaries. They feature different sports stars leading up to a big event. The last one was about Nascar and featured driver, Jimmie Johnson!

Matt had all of them saved on our DVR so we watched them Saturday night. I became a Nascar fan instantly! Just like I was a boxing fan after the Boxing HBO 24/7! haha!

Then today at the Auto Club Speedway, Jimmie Johnson won!! I was so excited since I am a new fan of his!! I have never been to a NASCAR race... but now I am ready to go!!

On to other randomness...

I am obsessed with these!! I just bought a new bag at Walgreens and I just LOVE them so much! They aren't going to help with the weight I need to lose!

I rented it from Redbox today so I will let you know how it is!

So I guess that's all the randomness I can think to tell ya'll... I am going to go eat my hugs and watch my rented movie! :)

I have a real addiction...

I have to admit I have a real addiction... I love A LOT of tv shows!! I probably watch too many but until I have less time on my hands, I am going to enjoy laying on the couch and watching all these shows! :)

Everyday I DVR Ellen and Oprah! And I watch a lot of HGTV! But every night my DVR is on overload!! These are the shows that are set to record now. I am sure that there will be more to add after I see what new shows are out! This list doesn't include all the random shows that Matt and I watch together! :) Seriously I don't know how this madness got started!

Well Arkansas once again proved it has the craziest weather! On February 25th we had temps in the 70s and then by February 29th we had SNOW! It was very pretty coming down and Romeo really loved it! He wanted us all to come play with him. I didn't play but I did get some really cute pics of him!

We have had a great weekend. Two of my very best friends from college came to visit and brought their husbands with them. They got here on Saturday and all 6 of us went to eat at Abuelo's in Rogers. It was so delicious! Then we went home and watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall. None of us had seen it and it wasn't horrible but there was some very unnecessary nudity! Anyway we had a great time hanging out together. I am so glad that we moved into this bigger house so we can sleep anyone who wants to visit us!

Fayetteville just got a Mellow Mushroom a few months ago and I had not eaten there yet. We decided to go there for lunch today. It was so good! I can't wait to go back! Its a pizza place and it is all decorated in 70s decor with tye-dye and mushrooms everywhere.

After that we all went to the Razorback game. The Hogs played Georgia but this was really special game because the 1994 National Championship team was honored for the first time in 15 years! It was so cool to see all these players again be able to witness Razorback history again!

Poor Nolan has aged a little bit!!

OK... Are any of you Brothers and Sisiters fans? I am so addicted to this show!!!

I started it in the middle of the 2nd season and recently just finished watching the whole first season on dvd. It shows on Sunday nights on ABC. Tonight was a 2 hour movie event. The previews led us to believe that someone was going to die tonight. I was literally a nervous wreck the whole time I was watching it! No one died and I am glad but I just don't understand why they would lead us to believe someone dies when they didn't! But lets be honest I would have a hard time watching if Rob Lowe had been killed off the show so I am glad he survived but I am still a little miffed that my blood pressure was high for 2 hours for no reason! :)
