Halloween for dogs?

OK... I promise there is a point to this post so stick with me! :) So, I am sure that most everyone is familiar with this youtube video but just in case your not... You have to watch this interview by Antoine Dodson. The first video is the actual footage from the local news station.

This next one is the AWESOME remix!! It cracks me up!! It is a really catchy song and this video has had over 35 million views on youtube!! (I have watched this too many times to even count! ha!)

So the reason I am even talking about it today was I received an email today from my husband, titled "Antoine Dogson"! This is the best Dog halloween costume ever!!!

Isn't that absolutely hilarious?!

Now the question is... Does Romeo need a Halloween costume?! Not sure if I really want to spend the money for my dog to have a costume but pets dressed up for Halloween really crack me up!!

This isn't Romeo, but it is a Shiba Inu dressed like a lion! Too cute!

So tell me... Are you dressing your pets up this weekend?

Happy thoughts continue...

THANK YOU so much for all your sweet and encouraging words after yesterdays post! I had a much better day and feeling much more hopeful! I have many things that are keeping my mind off all the fertility struggles this week... Like these sweet pups!

Ruby is spending the week with us! She and Romeo have really grown out of their rowdy puppy phase and all they do is sleep! But I love having them around to keep me company!

They are such opposites... Romeo never sits on the couch with me and is always sleeping by himself somewhere but Ruby always wants to be right beside me or even touching me. Which is actually nice for a change! :)

I also bought mums yesterday! I LOVE FALL so much and we are having some friends come stay this weekend for the Hog game, so I wanted to complete my fall decorating by getting some mums. Now lets just hope I can keep them alive!

Hope everyone is having a good Thursday!

Bored dog.

I sometimes feel like I would love a dog's life. But then again, my dog always looks so bored unless we are on a walk!

This is his daily nap on our bed!

I guess he is so bored he decided to go sit in the only sunlight coming in the kitchen!

He finds no humor in the things we do to him, like wear Matt's tshirt!

He says "I will only pose for one pic and that's it!"

And this is the worst... Absolute complete boredom!

I don't take it personal... I know he still loves me!! :)

Have a good Thursday!

Other weekend photos.

While we got the house ready for the shower, Romeo and Tucker played!

I love these two shibas!!

They passed out while we were still working at 2 am on Sunday morning!

One of my very best friends and her precious 3 month old Halle Kate came to stay with me this weekend! I love when I get to spend time with the two of them!

Matt loved having them at the house too! He will be such a good daddy one day! :)

Love my sweet Halle Kate! I seriously wish she was mine! :)

Love these two kiddos so much!

Brody was his practicing big brother skills! He is going to be so sweet with his new baby sister next month!

Juju had a photo shoot with Halle!

Could she be any more precious?

Have a good Thursday everyone!!

Wedding, friends and dogs!

This weekend we attended Matt's co-worker and old roommate's wedding! Matt's mom got to know Jason while they lived together, so she came up to go with us. We had a great weekend!

Jason and Shannon came into the reception with the HOG fight song playing! He is the executive sports producer at KNWA tv station here in NWA. I thought this was cute of her singing along!

Bride's cake

Cute Groom's cake! "Razorback Nation" is the name of the sport department/show on the news!

Matt and one his best friends Bo.

Matt's good friends/co-workers- Jason, Bo and Aaron

Mike and Tammy Vaughn- He is Matt's boss!

The happy couple!

The dogs had a good weekend too! Had to share these cute pics!

Sam was hot after our walk! I love a smiling dog!

My sweet boy who I love too much!

Too cute.

A client brought this in the salon this week! Thought it was too cute not to share!

"No, I haven't seen your lipstick! Why would you even ask me that? I'm insulted! Every time something goes missing around here, everybody looks at me! For your information, I don't even wear that shade. It doesn't flatter my complexion and it taste terrible. Ooooops...."

Happy Friday everybody!

Brody and Dog party!

Brody Francis came over on Monday to play with "Nomeo" while his momma ran errands. I had the best time with him!! He is talking so much these days and I just love seeing him learn new words! I think he is seriously so smart! :)

He says "dat a" in front of everything so this was... "dat a doggie wa-wa".

He chased Romeo around the yard and Romeo LOVED it!
His other favorite thing at Juju's house is the "backum"! See video below... he seriously loves this thing. But honestly who can blame him, I love that Dyson too! :)

He wanted Romeo to have plenty of toys to play with! :)
About an hour after being here, it was during his afternoon nap time and I could tell he was getting tired. I just gave him is paci and his monkey and we laid down. I told him we were going to take a nap and go night-night. It was so funny because I pretended to be asleep and he just talked and talked then all the sudden he was still and quiet. I couldn't believe he had actually gone to sleep! I was so proud of myself! ha! And he slept for about an hour and 15 min before Jennifer got back and woke him up to go home!

Here are some CUTE videos of Brody talking and playing with Romeo!!

Monday night, Romeo was invited to his Shiba friend's Birthday Paw-ty!

How cute is this invitation?! His momma has a side job of designing invitations so that's why they are so cute! Check out her site at...http://girafficarts.blogspot.com.

Leslie and me with our shiba boys!
Romeo loved Socks! Notice his foot, it looks like he has on a white sock hence his name! :)
Romeo and Tucker wrestle the whole time they are together! It wears them out which we love!

Sweet shibas.
Not so sweet shibas. HA!

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY TUCKER!
All the dogs got their own doggie cupcake and a bone for a party favor! So cute!
Some of the dogs getting their cupcakes!

Thanks Jennifer for letting keep your sweet boy and thanks Leslie for inviting Romeo and me to the paw-ty!! That was a really fun Monday! :)

White River Cabin

We had a great Memorial Day weekend with Matt's mom's side of the family on the White River! It took us about 3.5 hours and was literally in the middle of no where!!!! But we finally got there and it was really fun!

Beautiful view of the river from the cabin deck.

Matt's uncle and aunt built this cute cabin a couple of years ago! It's precious!

Romeo LOVED being outside and seeing all his family!

Matt's aunt decorated the cabin with all kinds of stuff from flea markets.

Master bedroom with dogs, Skip and Sissy resting in the cool air! :) That is the biggest round bed you have ever seen! Very cool!

Master bath

Guest room. I loved the awnings over the beds!

Guest bath was really cute too!

The comfy bunks that Jeni and I slept on! :)

My sweet boy Romeo was so good even though he had to be on a chain or leash the whole time we were there!

This cracked me up! There was no phone signal at the cabin but we still all had our phones out just in case! We are pitiful! :)

It was so good to see these girls!
Chelsey (Andy's girlfriend), Jeni (Matt's cousin)

We don't know why but Romeo kept standing on the ice chest! He cracks me up!

Jeni with Sissy in bed! This dog is so sweet and lazy and loves to cuddle!

Andy and Romeo on the hanging bed under the cabin!

Lisa with her boys!

Saturday night we went out for a catfish dinner in Mountain View, AR!

Then we headed to the town square for "Picken & Grinnen"! It was a sight to see! I have been to many of these types of places with my grandpa who used to play the fiddle in a bluegrass band. But tons of little jamming bands just sit around playing music. I think they do this most weekends when the weather is nice!

These are some performers that put on a show there in Mountain View. Like I said... it was a sight to see! :)

Group shot before we all headed home!

Hope everyone in blog-land had a great weekend!
